Devastating scenes from Gooyea Station, 170 kilometres North of Quilpie, following record-breaking flooding in the area. The area received an insane 200mm during the afternoon (after falls or 250mm already during the week), which lead to flood waters rising rapidly. Thankfully the family at this station was able to leave the property and reach their hanger where they were rescued via helicopter, with everyone involved reportedly safe.
