Australia’s recovery from increasingly severe bushfire seasons has entered a new phase with the deployment of autonomous reforestation drones known as AirSeeders. In the wake of record-breaking fires, Australian startups such as AirSeed Technologies have moved beyond pilot programs into large-scale ecosystem restoration. Their drone fleets are capable of planting up to 40,000 seed pods per day, a rate estimated to be around 25 times faster than manual planting with traditional tools. The system
