Realized once I was out there that I should have been wearing orange as it’s deer rifle season - Benji was on edge and I wonder if he could sense the deer on the run or if it was just the gunshots he heard. Either way, we didn’t stay out long - just enough to watch the sun go down and see how the pond is already starting to freeze up. It’s going to be a long winter. | Smiley
